UFGS Guide Specification Documents Integration

At InterSpec innovation is our corporate mantra. Our developers are always working to expand features on current products and to develop new applications to enhance the success of professionals int he A/E/C industry.

The Maine Technology Institute has awarded a grant that will allow InterSpec, Inc. to expand the libraries integrated into e-SPECS specification automation management system, to include the United Field Guide Specification (UFGS) documents. The addition of these specifications will allow construction projects that are exclusive to UFGS to utilize BIM Integration via AutoDesk Revit. Once fully developed, e-SPECS will be the only software to pair UFGS and Revit. Beta testing will begin in late 2016.

UFGS documents are the only specifiaciton documents used by:

  • National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
  • U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC)
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
