InterSpec, Inc., the industry leading provider of integrated construction specification software and specification writing services, is pleased to announce being selected by Salt Architecture as the lead specification consultant for the Hotel Madeline project.
This project was very unique; with a Porte-Cochere and a rooftop pool addition to Hotel Madeline located in Telluride, Colorado. The project was extremely complex as the Porte-Cochere was built over the top of an existing 3-story post-tension slab garage. It required a high level of specification detail as it involved a very large steel structure being constructed over the garage which then had to transfer the new loads down three levels into an existing mechanical room and onto micro-pile pad foundation supports.
“This project was our first collaboration with InterSpec,” said Dylan Henderson, owner of Salt Architecture. “While previous local outsourcing of spec writing had not been a positive experience, InterSpec’s online service was very collaborative and responsive. The work was straight forward and the process was very informative. We also found the e-SPECS software package very helpful and easy to use. I would definitely work with the InterSpec specification services team again.”
“Working on the Hotel Madeline project was a privilege and definitely challenging,” says George Libby, Director of InterSpec’s Specification Services. “The construction specifications required a very high level of quality. As an industry leading construction specifier, developing concise and complete project specifications is our commitment to our customers. InterSpec takes great pride in working with architects like Dylan on this type of high-end project.”
